WINS has been a beacon of trust and hope for Calgarians in need for over 30 years, providing essential resources to Calgarian women and their families who are facing adversity and poverty. Today, we operate six thrift stores, four community resource hubs, two programs centres and a nationwide online thrift shopping enterprise. With your donations, support, and help, we positively impact the lives of over 17,500 Calgarians every year, and divert over 4 million pounds of items from Calgary landfills.

WINS serves women that are fleeing domestic violence, struggling with or transitioning from homelessness, are newcomers to Canada, experiencing financial difficulty, or otherwise facing a crisis. These women and their families often fall through the cracks, so we created programs tailored specifically for them to give them the support that they need to become resilient and self-sufficient. Our approach to help women focuses on the three pillars of basic needs, emotional support, and skill building.
