FEC’s primary mission this year is to launch the “Digital Access for All” initiative, aimed at bridging the digital divide within Calgary. This project focuses on providing free internet access and computers to low-income families, ensuring equitable digital participation for education, employment, and community engagement. Donations will directly fund the acquisition of computers and the setup of internet services, making an immediate impact on families’ lives by enhancing their access to digital resources.
Additionally, we are seeking support for our Beehive Project, which aims to reintegrate bees into the community. This initiative not only brings communities together but also addresses crucial environmental concerns such as food security and pollination. Funding for this project will go towards establishing and maintaining beehives, as well as community education on the importance of bees to our ecosystem.
Both projects are critical to FEC’s vision for a more connected and environmentally conscious community. Your support will enable us to make significant strides in digital inclusion and ecological stewardship in the Calgary area.
